Ski pass refunds policy announced in Three Valleys

Updated: Nov 11, 2020

With Covid-19 creating uncertainty on this winter's ski season, it's good to know that the Three Valleys ski lift companies have a fair refund policy for 20/21.

Meribel Alpina, who sell ski passes for the whole of the Three Valleys area, have confirmed that skiers will be reimbursed on a pro-rata basis for any days of missed skiing due to government-imposed restrictions which impact lift openings this season.

The "reimbursement guarantee" promises:

"Unused stay package 100% refunded: we process your requests for changes or cancellation of your package until the day before the 1st day of validity.

Stay package in use: in the event of an health crisis with an administrative of the domain, we will reimburse your stay package (from 2 to 21 days) in proportion to the days not used.

Season pass: In the event of a health crisis and a government decision leading to the closure of the ski area, you will be entitled to a refund.

So you can book your ski pass with confidence that if you can't fully use it, you'll get a refund for each day you can't ski on a pro-rata basis. Compared to last year's "black box" refund algorithm which was the cause of many a complaint, this new policy is a game-changer.

Well done to the Three Valleys for putting in place a fair and transparent policy this year.
